Brendan Fraser is heading to TV to tackle the role of a secret agent in a new drama series from the makers of "Homeland."

The "Mummy" star will play an undercover operative with the ability to transform himself for every job in the new small screen series "Legends," which has been put together by "Homeland" executive producer Howard Gordon and writer Alexander Cary.

The show is based on the book of the same name by spy novelist Robert Littell. Fraser will also act as executive producer on the drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
