"Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn has donned a trash can for his latest TV appearance -- on kids' favorite "Sesame Street."

The style consultant has been appearing on the hit fashion competition program since 2004, but the one TV show Gunn felt excited to be on was beloved series "Sesame Street."

On Friday, Gunn took to Twitter.com to share details about his recent visit, and wrote, "I was on the set of Sesame Street yesterday. It was like a dream! Here I am in Oscar's trash can."

Gunn also attached a photo of him inside famous character Oscar the Grouch's trash can, looking mischievous.
