Celebrity psychologist Dr. Phil Mcgraw and his son Jay are developing two reality programs under their new production company. In 2008, the McGraws executive produced Dr. Phil spin-off The Doctors and four years later, Phil and Jay joined veteran reality producers Jay Bienstock and Eugene Young to create their own company, Ghost Mountain Productions. Now the team is taking on the unscripted space, and have created two programs for TLC and ABC Family, according to Deadline.com. Premiering on the TLC network on Wednesday (03Oct12), Cracking Addiction features former drug addict Brandon Knauss and his mother Debbie as a mother-son intervention team. The series will follow their efforts as they help others struggling with addiction. The other reality project from the McGraws is titled Gross Anatomy, which will debut on ABC Family. The series will be akin to The Doctors, but will focus on common health problems and medical conditions that teens face. Ghost Mountain Productions bosses are also working on three more reality series for A&E.
