Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has given his stance on the "Jersey Shore," and revealed his admiration for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

While the presidential hopeful is in full campaign mode for the November election, Romney did have time to give his endorsement to the pint-sized reality star in a pretaped interview for Tuesday's episode of "Live! with Kelly and Michael."

Romney and his wife Ann were hit with a few non-political questions during the morning chat show, and when it came to reality TV, co-host Michael Strahan asked the ever-important question: "Honey Boo Boo or Snooki?"

The former Massachusetts governor showed off his pop culture knowledge and answered, "I'm kind of a Snooki fan. Look how tiny she's gotten! She's lost weight. She's energetic. Just her spark-plug personality is kind of fun."

Kelly Ripa went on to ask Ann Romney if she keeps up with the popular Kardashian clan and she responded, "Who keeps up with the Kardashians? Who can keep up with the Kardashians?"
