Jennifer Lopez took to Twitter Thursday night to refute reports circulating yesterday claiming she would be leaving "American Idol."
"There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving 'Idol,'" the pop singer said. "All I said was I haven't decided what I am doing next year."

She added: "When I know for sure what I'm doing I will let the#LOVE!RS know! #FYITweets."
The rumors started when, according to E!, a source said Lopez was "just too busy" to continue. Us Weekly also had sources telling them "There is just too much going on for her right now." While Fox declined to comment on the matter at the time, a source did tell E! that the network did not want to let her go, and that "they love her."
Lopez is set to embark on a 20-city tour through the U.S. and Latin America this summer, which will conflict with Idol auditions and pre-taping.

The age and gender is void here as far as the posters are concerned, however you can generally conclude the later by the comments. There is something to consider before posting a comment:
American Idol (AI) is an entertainment show focused on the contestants NOT the judges. However they do play a part in the shows popularity.
Before you begin to criticize the careers of Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler or Jenifer Lopez, might I remind you that anyone of them make more money doing what they do than any 10 of you put together. So therefore where do you feel you have the credentials to judge them. A judge is one who has more experience or exposure to a genrea than the person being judged. I personally feel all three judges are more than qualified to sit on the panel. For the most part the greater percentage of the posters for this topic lack the intellect to begin to critique anyone of the judges. Most of the posts are based on a personality like or dislike.
And......... for the one poster that seems to feel that a judges physical attributes play a part in her ability to be a competent judge, I ask you: "It is what it is - have you checked your back side lately".
Over all - since AI has revamped their panel of judges, I think it has added life back into a failing dogma / icon. Over the past ten yr. talent shows have swept the networks and revitalized the standards of watching television.
There is an ole saying here that seems to really fit like a glove: Before you go barking up someone's tree, you better be able to climb it"
It DOES NOT MATTER who wins IDOL!!!! Who can name a hit from Fantasia, Rueben, and other winners???? It's the ones who come in second, third, and forth that become known! Joshua is already a hit - Clay Aiken didn't need to win - he already won! Skyler will be like Kelly Pickler and have her own following. It's all about EXPOSURE to the public. Winning is all relative people....
