Plans for the post-Regis Philbin "Live! With Kelly" era continue to build. In the latest news, Neil Patrick Harris has been tapped to co-host the show alongside Kelly Ripa for an entire week, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 2.

Philbin's last day as co-host will be Friday, Nov. 18. He'll be saying goodbye after almost 30 years at the show. In recent weeks, a cavalcade of stars, including Jimmy Fallon and Don Rickles, have stopped by to bid Reeg a fond farewell.

But life, and "Live!," goes on. Jerry Seinfeld has already been named as the first post-Regis host. He'll be paired up with Ripa from Nov. 21 to Nov. 23 before the show goes dark for the Thanksgiving break.
Both Seinfeld and NPH have been guest hosts in the past.

The guests slated to stop by the newly named "Live! With Kelly" the week NPH is on hand include Betty White, Maya Rudolph, Marcia Cross, Avril Lavigne and Cobra Starship.
