NBC pulls plug on Paul Reiser after two episodes

Now, Paul Reiser has something to really be mad about.

NBC cancelled "The Paul Reiser Show" on Friday after just two episodes, TheWrap has confirmed.

The "Mad About You" star's critically panned return to television debuted to the lowest ratings in network history; 3.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

The bleeding showed no signs of stopping as  Reiser suffered an 18 percent drop in its second week.

Starting next week, the network plans to air repeats of "The Office" in "Reiser"s' 8:30 p.m. time slot. No decision has been made on when or if the remaining episodes of the series will air.

Why is Hollyweird digging up all these old celebs when they should be investing in newer faces for the screen.

I stopped watching NBC after they cancelled Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas, without ever bothering to wrap up the storylines. I mean, both shows had season finale's and never came back. I didnt get a chance to watch Paul Reiser's new show cuz i had no idea when it was on, only saw like 3 commercials about it. So NBC, i will continue watching Fox and cbs and any other channel but yours.
