"Saturday Night Live" veteran Jimmy Fallon gave Taylor Swift a little "SNL" 101 on Monday's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," prepping her on pitch meetings, how to woo the writers and why she should be ready for anything when she hosts this weekend's show.

Swift, whose last major media appearances were pegged to Kanye West interrupting her acceptance speech for Best Female Video at MTV's Video Music Awards in September, said she was ready to pitch the "SNL" writers a few ideas of her own, including some impersonations she apparently has up her sleeve.

She added that she's the kind of person who obsesses over preparation, which could make for some interesting moments when she works with a cast that's just as talented at improvising as they are at working withint the confines of a script.

Swift is scheduled to host and sing on "SNL" on Saturday, Nov. 7.
