"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh's husband, Alex Young, has filed for divorce from the actress. ET was first to obtain the divorce filing.

In divorce papers, Young cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The date of separation is listed as Nov. 22, 2008, just before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kate and Alex have been married since September of 2007. The couple got engaged in May 2007 after a whirlwind courtship.
