TV trailer parks and their kin
These small-screen homes are big on charm and
character

Consider the mobile home: It's portable, flexible and cozy. You can park it
just about anywhere. Cheaper than an apartment, easier to clean than a house, a
trailer is the ultimate ... moredomicile for comfort and ease. If you like to let your
hair down and meet exciting new people, a trailer park may be in your
future.
Now that "Welcome to Myrtle
Manor" will air on TLC, we were inspired to present a real estate guide for
TV's finest small-budget communities. Not all of them feature actual mobile
homes, but each celebrates the lifestyle, culture and singular pleasures of an
authentic trailer court. Some may grow weary of life in a plain old cul-de-sac,
where mortgages are high and nobody has a warrant out. Here are some favorite
low-budget, small-screen properties from across the nation.
"Welcome to Myrtle Manor" premieres Sunday, March 3 at 10 p.m.
ET/PT on TLC.
