Seriously!! A puppet, new (and probably short lived) TV shows and trashy reality shows...what about Petey from The Little Rascals?

Oh wait....that's right, he's a pit bull type dog.  Goodness know nothing in a positive light should be printed for all the world to read about these type of dogs; especially one around children.  Why would that make him a Top TV Dog?!?!

What about Rin Tin Tin?  Bullet, Pluto, Brian, Dino, Underdog,m Clifford, Odie, Mutley, Droopy, Max (the bionic dog) Flash (Dukes of Hazzard) and SNOOPY!!

If you were going to name dogs from animated shows, you forgot Brian from 'Family Guy'. I'd think a talking dog that is smarter than most of the household would have a spot on this list.

By Lie Shia Ong
MSN TV

Beginning Feb. 11, America's champion canines will trot their way into New York's Madison Square Garden and compete in the 137th annual Westminster Dog Show. While we won't know which pooch will take home the top prize until Feb. 12, here's a look at some of our favorite TV tail-waggers, who bring the best to their respective shows each week.

The 2013 Westminster Dog Show airs Monday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CNBC and Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on USA.
