| The most-shocking moments from 'Homeland' |
10 of the Emmy-winning drama's most incredible Season 2 plots By Mekeisha Madden Toby Spoiler alert: This story contains a number of major plot points from Season 2 of "Homeland." Stop reading if you haven't been watching and want to remain in the dark. On any other show, the death of the principal villain would've been the most exciting story line. But "Homeland" is not just any show. And although it was satisfying when Carrie Mathison (Emmy-winning star Claire Danes) and the FBI finally took down Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) in Season 2's penultimate installment, it was hardly the most stunning turn of events this season. From the jaw-dropping moment when Saul (Mandy Patinkin) and Carrie discovered Brody (Damian Lewis) was in fact Nazir's treasonous foot soldier all along to the death of Vice President William Walden (Jamey Sheridan), this season has been a nonstop roller coaster of action, suspense, secrets, lies, villainy and death. In time for what will hopefully be a rewarding season finale Sunday night, we're taking a look back at the most shocking moments "Homeland" has given us this time around. Enjoy. The season finale of "Homeland" airs Sunday, Dec. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime. Bing: 'Homeland' | Claire Danes Does "Homeland" still have the magic? Sound off on Facebook and Twitter (Showtime) |
