TV stars who either were fired or needed to leave By Vinnie Penn Some TV stars are let go and others choose to let go. Semantics, really. Only the suits and ties, agents and entourages know for sure what really goes down when it all goes down. I mean, did you learn nothing from Charlie Sheen's endlessly eloquent dissertations about the industry all last summer? For those of you old enough to remember, Suzanne Somers staged just as much a fuss while at the height of her fame on ABC's classic comedy "Three's Company." Of course, there were a few differences. For starters, Sheen had gone from famous to infamous and back again three times over by the time his CBS squabble began. Second, Somers never spewed a language all her own at every talk show host in her path amid the falling out. And finally, Somers didn't return to television in one year's time, like Sheen with his "Anger Management." As of this writing, CBS' top-rated "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" has announced that stars George Eads and Jorja Fox have not been fired after all. This just a week after it was announced they were. There clearly really is no business like show business! Here is a list of folks who've walked this long, winding and many times rocky road.
