The Brows of Summer

Browse this summer's sexiest supercilia

In Hollywood, some actors have a leg up on the competition, while others have a, um, brow up. That's right. This is a gallery about eyebrows. Of course, there are those who are naturally hirsute and have no choice. But others are in full control of the angry and sometimes even Grinch-y bunches of hair that rest just above their eyes. Just ask New Orleans Hornets rookie Anthony Davis Jr., who recently trademarked his caterpillar-quality unibrow with the phrase, "Fear the brow."

Although veterans such as Larry Hagman and Sam Waterston and comedic types such as George Lopez and Bruce Campbell don't have trademarks and catchphrases, these bros of the brow certainly know how to keep us entertained all summer long. Read on for our eye-brow raising list of actors, characters and creatures.

Larry Hagman, "Dallas"

It's such a treat to see Larry Hagman back playing J.R. Ewing on TNT's revamped version of "Dallas." Not only is it the role that made Hagman, 80, a star, but it's a deliciously villainous character that TV needs. Adding to his villainy are Hagman's insanely bushy, epitome of Grinch-like brows that seem only to get wilder with every episode.

TNT must like the Hagman/"Dallas" dynamic too. The basic cable network announced it will be bringing the drama back for a second season.
