Ozzy Osbourne, "The Osbournes"

Ozzy is reality TV's original lovable lunatic. Featuring his wife, Sharon, and kids, Jack and Kelly, "The Osbournes" showed the very unconventional life of the first family of heavy metal, which often included Ozzy babbling profanely, struggling with mundane tasks like working the TV remote or arguing with Sharon. The show was never mean-spirited, however. Ozzy always had a sense of humor about himself, and the family members clearly loved one another, which is why the show managed to find a big audience rather than push people away. The show was a massive hit, which, of course, made the family's home life even crazier, but after four seasons, the Osbournes had had enough. Most of the family has resurfaced in other places on reality TV, however. Most recently, Kelly was a contestant on Season 9 of "Dancing With the Stars," while Sharon works double-duty, serving as a judge on "America's Got Talent" and as a co-host on the daytime gabfest "The Talk."
