What show will claim the reality crown? By Nicole Tsong Is the appetite for reality television shows endless? Simon Cowell appears to think so. His newest show, "The X Factor," looms large over the reality field this fall, and, in typical Cowell style, he has bragged that "The X Factor" will claim the No. 1 crown from FOX's "American Idol." Johnny-come-lately shows like "The Voice" have proved that with the right celebrity mix (Team Blake Shelton!), a new gimmick (swivel chairs!) and just enough talent to make the show watchable, it is possible to have a hit even when merely handing out a record deal. We examine the shows that have hit the reality-show sweet spot. Bing: More on 'The X Factor' | Watch full episodes and clips
