Favorite Reality Catchphrases

A friendly dictionary of our favorite quotes and one-liners from unscripted TV

By Kenny Herzog
Special to MSN TV

Reality TV has given us so much and asked for so little in return, with the exception of our obsessive devotion, to the detriment of general global awareness. In particular, the genre has expanded our vernacular, introduced new cultural idioms and manifested enough new terminology and infectious figures of speech to inspire infinite .GIFs, mashups and material for "The Soup."

So, we've compiled a handy glossary of some unforgettable quotes, verbiage, one-liners, disses and dismissals from across the reality TV spectrum. We think it's pretty fierce, but if you disagree, then the tribe has spoken, and consider us dunzo.

The catchphrase: "Fierce!"
The show: "Project Runway"
Who said it: Christian Siriano
Context/usage: The Season 4 "Runway" winner started an "SNL"-skewered pop-cultural phenomenon with one simple word. But what made his catchphrase truly "fierce" was the way he inflected it: one-part West Coast Valley Girl and one-part strident New York diva. Often imitated, it still sounds the most ferocious out of Christian's finely quaffed self.

Bing: Christian Siriano | 'Project Runway'
