Billie Joe Armstrong Still Set for 'The Voice'
Green Day star will appear as mentor despite admission to treatment center

Billie Joe Armstrong's recent troubles won't affect his planned appearance on
"The Voice," during which he will mentor contestants on Christina Aguilera's
team of aspiring singers.
A representative for the show has confirmed that Armstrong has already
recorded his part and the footage will air as planned during the current season.
The rep tells Deadline.com, "We're taped and all set."
A representative for the Green Day star confirmed that the
singer is seeking treatment for substance abuse issues and said the band has
postponed a number of upcoming appearances.
The news came shortly after Armstrong hurled abuse at organizers of a music
festival in Las Vegas on Friday.
