Long before viewers became enamored with the cringe-worthy diet of "sketti" (and bobbing for raw pigs feet) on "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," TV personalities and reality contestants have been ruining appetites for the TV audience with their food choices for years. From Andrew Zimmern to Anthony Bourdain to contestants on "Fear Factor" to "Survivor," the days of Bear Grylls drinking his own urine to impress us ... err, survive ... are gone.

Of course, in some parts of the world these "gross" foods are delicacies. Occasionally they even appear on "Top Chef" as mystery items during quick-fire challenges -- though they're usually masked by flavorful sauces and gourmet accoutrements and not just simply boiled or completely raw. So, before we sit down to salivate over the multitude of delicious culinary masterpieces that await us on the next season of "Top Chef," MSN TV is taking a look at the most disgusting things we could find that have been eaten, or attempted to, on TV. "Top Chef: Seattle" premieres Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Hungry yet?

1. Buffalo testicles, "Fear Factor"

"My mom never made these when I was growing up."

Ours either. And we thank her for that.

2. Raw seal, "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations"

"I want to eat the brain."

What is this, "The Walking Dead"?!

3.Balut (chicken fetus), "Survivor: China"

"They still have the feathers on them, so be careful of that when they go down."

We'll try to keep that in mind ... along with the fact that they are, you know, chicken fetuses.

4. Human urine, "My Strange Addiction"

"Sometimes it's salty, sometimes it tastes like Champagne."

But is it better than Cooks?

5. Caribou heart, "Man vs. Wild"

"At least it's warm."

Because it's totally unacceptable when it's served cold.

6. Frog fallopian tubes, "Amazing Race"

"It's like warm Jell-O."

We don't think we'll ever be able to eat tapioca again.

7. Squirrel brains, "Bizarre Foods"

"We're frying it in bacon fat."

Everything tastes better with bacon.

8. Human ashes, "My Strange Addiction"

"I didn't want to wipe [the ashes] off ... so I just, licked it off my fingers and here I am today."

Isn't this considered cannibalism?

9. Zebra carcass, "Man vs. Wild"

"An excellent source of protein."

Next you're going to tell us it tastes like chicken, too.

10. Cow's blood milkshake, "Survivor: Africa"

"It's shot for shot!"

We don't remember "shot for shot" involving cow's blood or milk in college ...
