Why "The New
Adventures of Old Christine" got canceled when it was just getting good and
Julia Louis-Dreyfus collected her second Emmy for
it is anyone's guess -- except HBO's. The network eschewed venturing ... more
one and simply snapped JLD up and put her in what appears to be a winner of a
new comedy, "Veep."
While JLD has long been considered proof there is no "Seinfeld" curse, many would say that others proved it
long before she. OK, so maybe Jerry Stiller in the basement on "King of
Queens" is a stretch, but what about co-creator Larry David himself, whose
uproarious "Curb Your
Enthusiasm" blows a hole in any conspiracy theory in the general
vicinity.
Stepping outside the general vicinity, we take a look at the other stars
