Movie's are **** now, and traveling has alot to do with it.

Actors too have bills.

TV has turned into a total libfest in my opinion, with subject matter most Americans care absolutely nothing about; it's disgusting

I'm very happy to see some of my favorite "movie stars" on the small screen. I suspect they do it since good movie roles are fewer for them and as actors they still need to work. Perhaps TV lets them stay close to home or is a steady paycheck? Whatever the reason, I'm happy to see them on my flat screen.

The reason why a lot of the older actors are going to TV is because there aren't any good rolls for them. A lot of them are passed their prime. Plus TV is a huge money maker for the older stars. Seeing Dustin Hoffman on TV every week is some thing that is not seen everyday. The older stars and seeing there is money to be made and they are taking advantage of it. They have to make money to survive they have bills to pay just like everyone else. Everyone is going to see more and more older stars on TV. TV is the new Hollywood of the small screen.

Television is simply better than movies these days.  There was a time when I went to the movies almost weekly and only watched a few hours of television a week.  Now I go to one or two movies a year and can't find the time to watch all of the good shows on TV.  There are too many.
