Fred, "Baretta"

This Triton cockatoo, named La-La, was originally from Hong Kong, discovered in a crate of chickens as he was being smuggled into the U.S. La-La performed as Baretta's beloved pet, with stunt doubles for some of the fighting and flying scenes. La-La won two PATSY (Performing Animal Television Star of the Year) awards. After his work on "Baretta," La-La performed shows at the Universal Studio's Tour in Southern California, and at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
