Rachel Crow's emotional onstage breakdown after being eliminated from "The X
Factor," is one of the show's most memorable moments of the season. But the
14-year-old former contestant now has a lot to celebrate after signing a TV deal
with Nickelodeon and a recording contract with Columbia.
Bing: Rachel Crow
"It's been amazing," Crow tells The Hollywood Reporter about the new deals.
"A couple days after the elimination, I just found myself sitting home asking
myself, 'What am I going to do now?' And I never would've thought that this is
what I was going do now. So, it's pretty amazing."
According to the trade magazine, the Nickelodeon deal will give Rachel the
starring role in her own musical comedy series pilot, as well as a recurring
role on the network's new comedy series, "Fred: The Show."
In addition, Rachel has been signed by Sony's Columbia Records in partnership
with her "X Factor" coach Simon Cowell's company, Syco, and she's expected
to begin work on her first album later this year.
