"Good Luck
Charlie" actress Bridgit Mendler has been named 2012
Role Model of the Year by Common Sense Media. The Disney Channel star was
honored during the eighth annual Common Sense Media Awards on Wednesday, April
25, in San Francisco. Mendler was recognized for being a champion of how to be a
responsible citizen in a 24/7 digital world.
Mendler is best known for her role as Teddy Duncan on "Good Luck Charlie" and
starring in the Disney Channel original movie "Lemonade Mouth." She recently
starred in a series of anti-cyberbullying public service announcements.
