Reality TV star Megan Hauserman comes clean on her new VH1 series 'Megan Wants a Millionaire'

Though she has appeared on a number of reality shows, Megan Hauserman is probably best known for her altercation with Sharon Osbourne during the "Rock of Love: Charm School" reunion special. After insulting Osbourne's famous rocker hubby, reality TV's elder stateswoman responded by emptying a drink on Hauserman's head before allegedly scratching her and pulling her hair. It's ironic, then, that this is the one topic the blond beauty refused to discuss during a recent interview. When asked for confirmation about whether the case was still pending, she replied thusly: "I don't know, is it?" Thankfully, Hauserman was more forthright in regard to the rest of our interrogation, particularly her new series "Megan Wants a Millionaire" (Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1), in which 17 wealthy men compete for her hand in marriage. Read on to find out more about the show, how she got started in reality TV and what professional sport she hopes to pursue when the show concludes.

MSN TV: Quick, can you name all the reality shows you've appeared on?

Megan Hauserman: Of course I can! I was on "Beauty and the Geek" Season 3. I won that. And then I was on "Rock of Love 2" on VH1. And then I was on "I Love Money." And then I was on "Rock of Love: Charm School." And now I'm starring in "Megan Wants a Millionaire." Five shows.

Can you make a living from just being a reality show contestant?

It's possible. I think a lot of people don't, but it is possible.

But it's been your sole occupation for the last few years, right?

Yes it has. And modeling. I do a lot of modeling, too. I'm on the cover of this month's Guitar World.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Is that your first cover?

Yes it is.

Was it a fun shoot? I know you were with some other reality TV stars, right?

I was with Daisy from "Daisy of Love" and it was a lot of fun. We drank some champagne and put on some sexy outfits.

I'm assuming you now have an agent, but did you have one when you landed that first reality show?

No, actually I didn't. I had just seen an ad on Craigslist and I went to an open call in Chicago at a restaurant in which the casting people were traveling all over the country and accepting videos from all over the world. And they picked me out of thousands of applicants.

At what point did you realize that maybe you could have a career in television and modeling?

I think that it just happened on its own. It was never a planned path. It just snowballed.

Your Wikipedia bio says you have a degree in accounting; did you ever go into that field? What were you doing before you were a reality TV star?

I was a college student. And I was getting my accounting degree and was planning to become an accountant. But then I was approached by Playboy and started modeling and never had to get a job, luckily enough.

Can you talk a bit about the format of this show? What will we see happen each week?

Well there are a lot of twists, but the main idea of the show is that it's me looking for a wealthy husband to spoil me. The men get to upgrade the dates and we have a concierge service and a butler and they get to buy me gifts 24 hours a day with a credit card machine right there in the house. It's a lot of fun.

Is your show more honest than the average reality dating show since you're being up front about your intentions?

I think it is.
