| Life after Victoria's Secret |
These models made it off the runway and onto television By Michaela Sinclair It's no secret that once fashion models retire from the runway, some of them evolve into actors and/or media personalities. This year's "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" promises to deliver "the sexiest night on television" when it airs Tuesday, Dec. 4, on CBS. As we watch these stunning lingerie-clad "Angels" strut down the catwalk, we take a look at former Victoria's Secret models who made it from the pages of an underwear catalog onto television. Heidi Klum, "Project Runway" Former Victoria's Secret Angel Heidi Klum got her start by winning a national modeling contest in her native Germany, and is now one of the most successful models to extend her stardom off of the runway. As the current host, judge and executive producer of "Project Runway," Klum is also the host, judge and co-producer of "Germany's Next Top Model." We won't be saying "Auf wiedersehen" to this multifaceted beauty anytime soon: She also designs clothing, co-authored her own biography, and is a painter, sculpture and occasional singer.
