The Golden Globe games
Embark in this time-honored tradition and join us for a toast ... or two ...
By Deanna Barnert Special to MSN TV
The Golden Globe Awards show is known as Hollywood's most unpredictable
party, and with good reason. It's the one event of the year where the stars get
to just hang out together and, er, "have a good time" -- or perhaps more
accurately, the one time we regular people get to watch celebrities
get drunk on TV! You can thank Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin for the laughs, not to
mention the awkward moments. The Rat Pack hijacked the Globes back in 1958,
turning the once typical award show snore-fest into the boozy, TiVo-worthy
fiesta it is today. In recent years, we regular Joes have made a tradition of
piggybacking on the party by coming up with our own at-home drinking games. Just
because we didn't get an invite doesn't mean we can't join in on the fun!
Whether you're watching with your crew or celebrating on your own on Sunday,
Jan. 13, MSN TV has created the perfect Golden Globes drinking game to help you
throw a few back with the A-listers, while poking a bit of fun at them at the
same time. With Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting instead of Ricky Gervais this year, we can't
just drink to the insults, so we had to get a little bit more creative.
