Two-time Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning actor-director Jodie Foster will receive the Cecil B.
DeMille trophy, the Golden Globes' lifetime achievement award, at the 2013
awards ceremony.
At age 50, Foster is the fourth-youngest-ever recipient of the award, but,
then again, she started her career at age 3. In the 47 years she has been
working, she has done everything from toy commercials to TV sitcoms to
independent films and blockbusters. Foster has, to date, won two Academy Awards,
three BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globes, a Screen Actors Guild Award and two Emmy
Award nominations.
