came, as James Gandolfini flipped through the listings on a
jukebox, selected "Don't Stop Believing" and sat around with his family eating
onion rings. Were we being told that the final undoing of Tony Soprano would
come courtesy of trans fats? Was the customer that he kept suspiciously
eyeballing a hit man? Or was the point that no matter how happy his ever-after
