Popular Searches 3Comments Aug 23, 2012 9:35PM I really like "Grimm". It has atmosphere and I like the characters and the stories. I have not felt this way about a show, a strange show, which is just a little off base, since "X-Files." I hope the writers keep the characters interesting and the fans keep tuning in, to see what is happening to Juliet and Nick, Hank, Nick's mother who didn't get on a train to leave Portland. I think my favorite episode from last year, was about the beavers. It is a fun show. I keep wondering why Portland is having an invasion of people bees, wolves, bears, lions, and so on. Is it because Aunt Marie's trailer is there? Aug 25, 2012 5:16PM Aug 26, 2012 8:29AM I really enjoy watching Grimm. I can`t wait to see what happens each week. It`s like there is a twist each week. I think Nick`s mom may have gone to the dark side or she might have some other motive for thaking the coins and not getting on the train. I Also enjoy watching, Once upon a time. Can`t wait for season 2. Can`t wait to see what happens with the magic coming back. Report Are you sure you want to delete this comment? |
| Sophomore Slump-Busters |
How second-season shows can satisfy their fans and avoid the doldrums By Mekeisha Madden Toby The season opener of NBC's "Grimm" is packed with action, mystery and blood. Nick's (David Giuntoli) mom (guest star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) is back and very much alive, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) is still in a coma and a freaky new creature is wreaking havoc in Portland. In other words, it is business as usual when the series returns for an early, post-Olympics debut before moving back to its original Friday night slot in September. Although the fairy-tale-inspired drama is unique, its challenges going into a highly anticipated second season are not. Like all sophomore shows, "Grimm" has to satisfy and retain its fans -- an average 5 million or so viewers, according to Nielsen -- attract new eyeballs and avoid the dual-season doldrums a lot of shows suffer. Read on for other second-season programs, and see what we feel are these shows' best chances at overcoming the threat of slumps. "Grimm" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. It will air Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Sept. 21. Bing: More about David Giuntoli | 'Grimm' Excited for the second season of "Grimm"? Connect and sound off on Facebook and Twitter (NBC) |
