Oh, to go back to the year Bill Clinton was taking on Bob Dole, with Ross Perot orbiting the entire thing on "Saturday Night Live." Comedy gold!

Alas, this is the year of Obama versus Romney. And while Jay Pharoah (succeeding Fred Armisen) and Jason Sudeikis, respectively, do their best, Clinton, Dole and Perot were a pitch-perfect trifecta, especially in the hands of the likes of Dana Carvey, Norm MacDonald and Phil Hartman.
