Britain's Got Talent: 10 UK Shows That Crossed the Pond

In advance of MTV debuting 'The Inbetweeners,' we compare US and UK versions of recent shows

It's a truth universally acknowledged that British shows come to the U.S. to be remade infinitely worse. The latest test case is "The Inbetweeners," a comedy about a quartet of English high schoolers that earned a dedicated fan base in the U.K. and a tragically ignored rebroadcast on BBC America. Not content to leave well enough alone, the folks at MTV have redone the show, with the new version airing Mondays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. (You know, because they did so well with their last British import, the short-lived "Skins.")

"The Inbetweeners" airs Mondays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
