Green arrow uses a longbow and so did his son in the comic book.  Would be nice if the got these things right.

He's supposed to be...green arrow? Im confused, he's not wearing green. I see the plot here...smallville is over so this is his replacement based off of all the the idiots who the studio tested who said this character was the second best character. How LAME!

10 New Must-See Shows of Fall

"Arrow"

This dark, high-action DC Comics adventure hits the ground running when Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns from the dead packing a bow and arrow, some serious muscle and a secret mission. The billionaire immediately re-embraces his former playboy ways and dons a hood to take down the bad guys, avenge his father and save his city as Green Arrow. This ass-kicking vigilante is prepared for anything, except perhaps the reveal that he's not the only one hiding behind a harmless identity. Susanna Thompson, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne also star.
