The 2012 Emmy Awards nominations were announced Thursday morning, July 19, by
Kerry Washington , the leading actress
on "Scandal " and Emmy host
Jimmy Kimmel , who filled in for "Parks and Recreation "
star and scheduled announcer Nick Offerman , who was delayed due to
East Coast weather.
Given the not-ready-for-prime-time early hour, Jimmy Kimmel showed up to
announce the nominations in his pajamas.
Bing : 64th Primetime Emmy Awards
The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented Sept. 23 at the Nokia
Theatre in Los Angeles. It will be Kimmel's first time hosting the Primetime
Emmy telecast which will air on ABC. Here's the full list of nominees in the
major categories.

No Justified? Sons of Anarchy? Walking Dead? The Killing? Some of these nominations are pretty lame. Guess you have to pay extra for premium cable channels to see "good" television.
Where's the love for the best drama on TV, "Justified" and the best actor in a drama, Timothy Olyphant? Typical politics in everything as the same old, same old gets nominated every year.
