As we gather to celebrate this year's talented Emmy nominees and engrossing
shows, and to grumble about our favorites who were, once again, overlooked,
it's important to keep things in context. The Emmys haven't always gotten even
the nominees right, and have snubbed some of the biggest, most beloved stars and
shows in TV history. Here's a look at some of our favorites who were
never nominated for an Emmy (Joel McHale, you're in good company).
