I am so shocked and sad to see the sweet and beautiful Sybil be killed off. The show will not be the same!

The ending was just plain depressing!!! I cried and was depressed the next day. Why couldn't they just let it ending happy with the new baby? ugh! long wait ahead!

I love the show, but am extremely heartbroken that Matthew has been killed off! Especially so soon after Sybil. No fair! Is anyone at Downton allowed happiness? Matthew was what was to save Downton, what now? They remind me of the Kennedy's, with all of their hearbreak!

I absolutely love this show and will be in a depression when the last episode ends sunday. My fav sine LOST (which I miss terribly). What can I say, I don't have a life!

Terrible ending to Season 3 and not very original.  Another baby at Downton, another character dies.  What is the writer thinking?  An ending with a bit of turmoil, sure.  An ending with a cliff hanger, sure.  But this again?  No need to depress loyal fans.... again.  We all deserved a different ending.  The one we got was just plain mean.
