"Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" (Travel Channel)

Fans of Anthony Bourdain first took notice of this New Yorker's raw and wry eye for food commentary with his nonfiction book, "Kitchen Confidential," ... morewhich laid bare what was, to that point, the relatively glamorous world of restaurant kitchens. In that best-seller, the former chef introduced himself to diehard and casual foodies with his biting sense of humor and in-your-face honesty. Unsurprisingly, "No Reservations," his culinary and travel adventure series on Travel Channel, preserves much of what made his book so wildly popular while also demonstrating his deep respect for world cultures and traditions.
