With her voluptuous body (much of which was faked for the film--something "Davidovich" is not embarrassed to admit), bright red hair, and lively acting style, she accurately captured the qualities that made the real Blaze a living legend. Born of Yugoslavian parents, "Davidovich" was raised speaking Serbo-Croatian. When she was 10, her parents divorced and she stayed with her mother. "Davidovich" was determined to become an actress, and as a young woman moved to Chicago to take classes. There she found some stage work under the name Lolita David.
