5. Bob Denver as Gilligan in "Gilligan's
Island"
They didn't land on "Skipper's Island" for a reason: The big guy's little
buddy stole every scene. Gilligan (whose first name was never revealed) had a
heart of gold -- and a brain that was even thicker. (His blundering foiled
... morenearly every plan the castaways had to escape the island.) Ultimately, the
former first mate's good intentions compensated for his bad judgment -- even
after it was revealed that he was solely responsible for the shipwreck. (Dude
forgot to attach a rope to the anchor before heaving it overboard!)
