welcome to the world of the degenerate class, welcome to the sewer know as tv, where self-gratification is a high ideal and moral stupidity is the norm.

Worth the hype ? What does it matter to me if they are worth the hype ? Hype is something the produces and financiers do and pay for.
Try asking me if they are worth watching. Chances are that you will get a NO.

The fact that the show Duck Dynasty gets better ratings than these shows proves how bad these shows are, or it is at least a comment on how desperate for entertainment allot of today's T.V. viewers are. Because Duck Dynasty ( and many "Reality" shows like it ) is so staged and planned out. They are not spontaneous at all. Like most "Reality" shows, there is not much reality in them and they are usually shallow, boring and just plain stupid. As far as sit-coms, I feel like nothing is fresh or new and the humor has degenerated to a level barely above fart and burp sounds and over the top sexual innuendo and is aimed at people with the lowest intelligence level. "Two Broke Girls" is a perfect example. The acting is horribly bad. All the current "Drama" shows are retreads of older shows going as far back as "Hill Street Blues" (going way back for that one) "E.R." and so on, and I feel like I have seen them a million times and they are super predictable. I honestly have a hard time finding anything entertaining on T.V. anymore.

I'll watch about anything Laura Dern is in--once or twice anyway. TV got lucky. Her skills--see "Citizen Ruth"--may be immediately subsumed by the monster who keeps us all at bay,--be ye rooters or haters you are part of the miasma; but, one can always hope.
